AgNtech Connect is the trading name of Tetra Farms Ltd., a Manitoba corporation (registry no. 5228281). In this policy, “we” means Tetra Farms Ltd. operating as AgNtech Connect. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
If you get in touch through this website, we collect what you choose to tell us:
Nothing beyond your name and email is required for us to reply. If you book a meeting, we collect what you provide when booking. Our website also records standard technical information, such as IP address and pages requested, as part of serving and securing the site.
Please do not send confidential or commercially sensitive material through this website, or enter it into the site’s AI assistant. If a conversation reaches the point where such material is needed, we will put confidentiality terms in place first.
We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing. Where an introduction to a third party is the point — for example, introducing an opportunity to a source of capital — we ask you first.
We use third-party providers to host our website, store enquiries, manage email and calendar bookings, and operate the site’s AI assistant. They handle information only on our instructions. Some operate infrastructure outside Canada, and information held by them may be subject to the laws of those countries. We will tell you which providers we use if you ask.
Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to two years. Records connected to an engagement are kept for at least seven years after it ends, as professional and tax obligations require. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, and we will unless we are required to keep it.
Under PIPEDA you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct anything inaccurate, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent. Write to terry@agntechconnect.com and we will respond within thirty days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Access to enquiry records is restricted and individually authenticated, and our email is protected by industry-standard authentication. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise — but we do not collect more than we need, and we do not keep it longer than we should.
This site is intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen.
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page.
